IRANIMEX: A Platform for Advancing Iran’s Maritime Industry Towards Sustainable Development and Leveraging the Country’s Strategic Geographical Position
As the CEO of Morva Tejarat, the largest supplier of port equipment and machinery in Iran, I would like to share our experience at IRANIMEX. Morva Tejarat started its operations in 1997 as a sales office for port and maritime equipment and was officially registered as a private joint-stock company in 2000. By securing official representation from reputable domestic and international brands and gaining extensive experience in the sale of cargo handling equipment, we have expanded our portfolio to include gantry cranes, transtainers, RMGs, mobile harbor cranes, reach stackers, empty handlers, heavy-duty forklifts, terminal tractors, chassis trailers, spreaders, industrial brakes, specialized crane cabins, smart terminal operating systems, X-ray scanning devices, and equipment for commercial and oil terminals.
Our main objective at IRANIMEX was to showcase Morva Tejarat’s capabilities in supplying equipment and spare parts under the current circumstances. This exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to highlight domestic capabilities, connect with international companies, and facilitate technology transfer and knowledge exchange.
We firmly believe that cutting-edge technologies in the maritime and shipping industries play a crucial role in cost reduction and accident prevention. Moreover, we are optimistic about the future of Iran’s maritime industry, as the country’s extensive coastlines and strategic geographical position offer immense potential for investment and development—provided that sufficient attention is given to infrastructure and a favorable investment climate is established.
Overall, consistent participation in exhibitions like IRANIMEX enables companies and industry professionals to strengthen their networks and stay updated on the latest global innovations. This exhibition serves as a major platform for enhancing cooperation and advancing Iran’s maritime sector. We hope to see IRANIMEX grow stronger each year, fostering greater industry development across the country.
In conclusion, I strongly encourage all maritime and shipping industry players to actively participate in future exhibitions, as they present valuable opportunities for collaboration and gaining insights into the latest global technologies.
